2012 - First Census of Pu'u Wa'awa'a PDF Print E-mail

The initial census of the Pu'u Wa'awa'a bird sanctuary plot was completed in April 2012.  We will begin instillation of a climate tower in August 2012.    

 
Spring 2012 - Annual Resurvey of Plots Completed PDF Print E-mail

The HIPPNET team has recently completed their annual resurvey for the Laupahoehoe, Palama Nui, and Mamalahoa plots.  The next resurvey is scheduled to start in the Fall of 2012.

Summer 2009 - First Census Completed PDF Print E-mail

In the summer of 2009 we completed our first census of the Laupahoehoe and Palamanui plots and are working on data analysis and publications.
